Jacob Medley of Culpeper county sold to his son Ambrose Medley for 5 shillings, love and affection, 11 Negro slaves, 3 stills, 7 head horses (3 of which are at the Plantation where Jacob Medley lives, the others at Reuben Medley's), 1 gray horse, one bay Mare and 2 young mares, his cart and 3 yoak [sic] of oxen, ½ stock cattle, ½ stock of sheep and hogs at both Plantations (to wit Reuben Medleys on the Robison River and the plantation where Jacob Medley now lives), all of the growing crop at both Plantations: Tobacco, Wheat, Corn and Rye, ½ of the crop of oats, hay and fodder, hemp, flax and wool, all liquor at both Plantations, his silver watch, desk, all household furniture, except the bed furniture and pewter given to Reuben Medley, all working tools and gear at Jacob Medley's plantation., leather and rawhides and loose plank at both plantations, his saddle and bridle and one woman's saddle, ½ of his wearing clothes, all cash and bonds. Ambrose Medley is to pay his debts except the £80 debt of Michael Klug which Reuben is to pay.

Jacob Medley of Culpeper county sold to his son Reuben Medley for 6 shillings, love and affection, 3 slaves, 2 horses, ½ stock of cattle except 3 oxen yoke given to his other son Ambrose, ½ stock sheep and hogs at both plantations, 1 still, 1 feather bed and furniture, 1 cart and gear, ½ of his pewter, all of the tools on the Plantation where Reuben Medley now lives, ½ of his hemp, flax, cotton and wool at both plantations, ½ hay and fodder on the plantation on the Robertson, ½ of his wearing clothes. Reuben is to pay Jacob's bond to Michael Klug of £80.

Leonard Hill of Southfarnham Parish, Essex County granted to Eleanor Medley of same a certain tract of land containing 50 acres bounded: "Beginning at a corner tree of the land which was formerly Bridgers now belonging to the said Leonard Hill standing on the upper side of a branch which makes into the Yorker Swamp runing from thence South South West along a line deviding the said Leonard Hills land and the land which did formerly belong to John Sharp now belonging to the orphans of Thomas Harwar deced to the Yorker Swamp thence down the said Swamp to a Branch that makes into Yorker Swamp thence up the said Branch to the beginning tree standing near the plantation belonging to the said Eleanor Medley " Eleanor was to pay Hill 3500 of good tobacco.
